Industrial relations in Europe

Industrial relations in Europe cover a wide range of developments at the European Union level and in a comparative perspective. The focus is on institutionalised and non-institutionalised industrial relations.
European industrial relations include relationships between employers and their federations and employee representations at various levels

  • European,
  • cross-national,
  • national
  • regional,
  • enterprise and
  • company.

The actors differ between the levels and between tripartite and bipartite industrial relations. The dynamics in the interface between various levels are a source of innovative developments of European industrial relations.
